National Express is the UK's largest scheduled
coach network.
National Express go to around 1000 destinations throughout the UK, from Aberdeen in the
north of Scotland to Penzance on the tip of Cornwall; a level of coverage no one else can
match. And each year we carry around 16 million customers. That's the population of New
York "having a nice day"!
In 2003, all of the National Express brands were
brought together under the National Express name, and given a new logo - the now familiar
red and blue circles. As part of this new look, Flightlink, Jetlink, Speedlink and Airbus
became National Express Airport, dedicated airport services taking passengers to and from
Britain's main airports from towns and cities across the UK - under one name.
National Express coaches are
serviced every day compared to every year for a car!
Although we try to be ahead of the game as much as we can, National Express also actively
seeks feedback from our passengers in order to provide the sort of service our customers
actually want.
For example, in response to demand for round-the-clock services in certain locations,
National Express now runs 24-hour services on routes between Birmingham and London,
Stansted and London, and Heathrow and Gatwick.
National Express also runs special services to a
huge variety of events, ranging from summer music festivals to the Clothes Show. We were
this year's travel partner for Glastonbury, and if there's something our customers want to
get to, we'll always consider laying a new service on.
National Express now also offer secure airport parking at all major UK airports including Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick, Manchester and Luton airport car parks.
